I have just set up a Win2k Virtual PC with Outlook 2000 installed on
it. I also have installed my VB6 IDE and any controls that I use. So
far no problem.

Now the question I have is how do you access your source? Do the gurus
just link to it on the host OS or do you copy the source folder to the
guest OS and copy back the compiled DSLL?

Thanks

I use VMWare and not Virtual PC but it's about the same. I usually keep my
projects on my main development machine and then compile on a VM that has
the required version of Outlook and store the compilation back with the
project on the main machine.

But one method over the other is a matter of how you prefer to work and how
much hard drive you created for the VPC. If you have a large hard drive
assigned to the VPC you might prefer to store everything there.
