Add-In Referencing When File is Copied to the Server

When I create a file with a reference to an add-in, and then copy the file to
the server for others to use, the reference for the add-in is automatically
changed so that the callout in the cell includes the path to where the add-in
is on my computer. Is there a way to make it not replace the callout with
the entire path? Everyone that uses the file has the same add-in on their
computers, so the file does not need the path to my computer.

Is this classic VB (vb6 and below)?

If it VB.Net then you need to post in a dotNet newsgroup.

If it is VB6 or below, then you need to provide more information. ("file",
"callback", "cell" don't make much sense in that context.) Are you saying
you are creating a VB project on your machine, and when you distribute the
"project" it somehow wants to point back to your machine? Or are you talking
about some Office Addin? Or ????
